The prompt challenged me to create a gift for anyone of my choosing that embodied the human spirit. My gift is a pocket-sized talisman that protects the future president with positive thoughts and words of encouragement, such as restore, unite, renew, listen, empower, lead by example, and inspire. The next leader of our country will have an incredible challenge in uniting the country beyond his/her normal duties. I created my gift to fuel the future president through the difficulties he/she will have to face. Any time the future president needs guidance, the talisman will dispense a message for him/her with a simple press of the object’s indent.
